The Inspiring Richmond Dinh Story
Richmond Dinh is the Creator of the Tiny Challenge™ and Founder of the Underdog Academy — frameworks that have helped thousands of beginner coaches rise, get clients, and build real businesses.
But his path wasn’t easy. Richmond lost millions in property in his 20s, faced near bankruptcy, and had to start over with nothing but belief and a last-dollar investment in coaching. That leap transformed failure into a multi–seven-figure business.
Out of that struggle came innovation: the Tiny Challenge™ model. A simple, powerful system designed to give early-stage coaches a fair chance in an industry dominated by bigger brands, bigger budgets, and louder voices.
Today, Richmond leads a global movement — proving that with the right framework, the underdog can win.

Stepping Stones to Success
1979
The Asian
Underdog
Richmond’s story begins long before business. Growing up as the son of Vietnamese immigrants in Sydney, he was bullied for being Asian and told he didn’t belong. Later, as a young professional, he followed the “safe” path — becoming an optometrist — only to find himself unfulfilled and trapped in a career he didn’t love.
Then came the crash. Losing $1.2 million in property investments left him broke, ashamed, and questioning his worth. It was rock bottom — but also the turning point. Through personal development and coaching, Richmond rebuilt his life, step by step.
That journey gave birth to the identity he now champions: The Asian Underdog. Someone who rises despite the odds, represents those overlooked, and proves that resilience, courage, and belief can change everything.Richmond doesn’t just teach strategy.
He embodies the message he lives by: Keep Believing & Never Settle.
